Linear Accelerator

before take radiotherapy

I have taken the Radiotherapy "Stereotic Radiotherapy by Linear Accelerator."  Before I took the therapy, the doctor made a fitting individual labor mask to secure my head to the bed. I lied down on the bed and extended my throat while I took the therapy. The irradiation was 30 seconds, twice. It will be repeated 5 times a week for 7 weeks. The side effect starts about one or two weeks later. I'm OK now. But my wife has been getting worse due to stress. So she is going to go back to Korea before I get bad side effects. She doesn't want to see me in terrible situations because her sister died of cancer. She has been depressed after her sister died. I think that life is not so easy but not so bad. I'm trying to be strong more than before. I'm interested in my side effects now. When, what kind of, and how much pain will it be? Any way I'm OK! I was surprised there are many patients getting cancers in Japan now. It might be caused by insecticides: DDT, agrichemicals, food additive, which were overly used for our generation.

I'm going to take radiotherapy 35 times 70Gy. I take it 1Gy from right side and also 1Gy from left side a day.
